Medstock
An offline stock book for a household’s medicines.
Not a pill reminder, a logistics ledger. How much is left, when it runs out, and exactly how much to buy to reach a given date.

The problem
Roughly a thousand pills a month across three generations of one family. The hard part was never remembering to take them, it was knowing on any given day how much of each medicine was actually left, and what to put in the next order to the pharmacy.
Every app I found was a pill reminder. This one is a stock book.
Stock is derived, never decremented
The obvious design keeps a running total and subtracts a dose each time. It is also the design that drifts: miss one entry and the number is quietly wrong forever, with no way to tell when it went bad.
Medstock instead computes what is left from a snapshot plus everything that has happened since. A counter that drifts is impossible to audit. A derivation you can recompute from scratch is impossible to lose.
